The reloading specifications provided were derived through the use of controlled laboratory conditions. While reloading steel shotshells, the reloader must adhere precisely to all the components, without exception, set forth in the load data and specifications. Alliant recommends that both powder charge and shot charge be individually weighed to insure compliance to the load data. Steel shotshells should only be used in well maintained firearms that are designed to shoot steel shot loads.
