9mm Luger / 9mm Parabellum (Handloader issue #351)

Warning! A Palmetto State Armory Dagger Compact chambered in 9mm Luger with a 3.9-inch barrel was used to test all loads. New Starline cases were used that were first full-length sized, inside chamfered and neck expanded prior to assembling ammunition. CCI No. 500 primers were used throughout. The jacketed bullet diameter is .355 inch while the maximum case length is .754 inch, while the suggested trim-to length is .749 inch. SAAMI maximum overall cartridge length is 1.169 inches. All cases were taper crimped into the bullets and measured .373 inch. Source: August/September 2024 Handloader issue #351.
