| Warning! Notes: Standard twist: 12". The 8mm Express is another Payne cartridge. This is the same as the 7mm Express except the shoulder is moved forward a little bit to give more volume. This cartridge has proven very effective on elk and similar game. Like the 7mm Express, cases are made from .348 brass with the rim turned off to make a rimless cartridge.
