| Warning! Notes: Reduced loads (one, three-shot group at 50 yards). An Interarms Mark X Continental Mauser with a 20-inch barrel, Canjar trigger and a Leupold 4x Compact scope was used for testing. Winchester cases were used for all handloads. Heaviest charges listed are considered maximum in this rifle and should be reduced by about 10 percent to start. Accuracy is for five-shot groups at 100 yards from a benchrest, except as noted. Velocities were measured with an Oehler M-33 or M-35P chronograph with the front screen 12 feet from the rifle's muzzle. Range temperatures were 48 to 71 degrees Fahrenheit. (Handloader Issue 231) |
