Warning! Notes: .340 Weatherby Magnum Mark V, 26-inch barrel; Weatherby cases, 227 grain; CCI 250 primers; Oehler M34/M50 chronograph system; velocity instrumental at 15 feet converted to muzzle velocity. While all of these loads were below maximum in the test rifle, they are not suggested for use in any other rifle and should be approached from three to four grains below. Loads for chambers without the standard Weatherby throating should be reduced even more to start. (Handloader Issue 77)
