.224 Clark (in a Model 70)(Handloader issue #338)

Warning! All loads were tested in a Clark rebarreled Pre-'64 Model 70 with a 26-inch Shilen chrome-moly barrel and a 1:9 twist. Powder charges are maximum and should be reduced 10 percent for starting loads in other rifles. Cases were formed by necking down and fireforming Winchester .257 Roberts and Remington .257 Roberts cases. Both used CCI 250 primers. Velocities are the average of five rounds chronographed at 12 feet. Source: Handloader June-July 2022 issue #338.
