.22 Reed Express |
![]() |
Warning! Notes: The 22 Reed uses 7.62x25 brass as the parent case. The brass is necked-down to accept .224-inch bullets and the shoulder angle changed. With heavier bullets, the powder charge must be reduced to allow the longer bullets to fit into the CZ-52 pistol magazine. Barrels in 22 Reed Express chambering are available also for the Thompson/Center Contender. Reed's Ammunition & Research offers barrels, reloading components and ammunition.
