| Warning! Notes: The .22 Long Snapper is a wildcat revolver cartridge based on the Hornet case. Aluminum frame guns are not suitable for conversion to this cartridge. Good single shot rifles can be barrelled for this calibre as a companion gun to revolver. Existing .22 Long Rifle calibre rifles will not handle this cartridge. Remington cases were used for all the following loads. If Winchester-Western brass is used, loads must be reduced because this brass is thicker. (Handbook for Shooters & Reloaders/Vol. 1 - P.O.
